Supraflex Cruz Coronary Stents

The Supraflex Cruz is an advanced sirolimus-eluting coronary stent made from cobalt-chromium with ultra-thin 60 μm struts. Its open-cell design, proprietary ‘LDZ’ link, and biodegradable polymer coating ensure excellent deliverability, flexibility, and precise deployment. With a low crossing profile and high push efficiency, it is ideal for complex coronary interventions, offering sizes up to 48 mm in length.

The Supraflex Cruz, developed by Sahajanand Medical Technologies (SMT), is a next-generation sirolimus-eluting stent for percutaneous coronary interventions. Its proprietary LDZ link and open-cell structure provide superior flexibility, side-branch access, and resistance to longitudinal compression, ensuring reliable performance in challenging anatomies.

A unique biodegradable polymer blend (PLLA, PLCL, PVP) enables controlled sirolimus release at 1.4 μg/mm²—with about 80% released in the first month, and the remainder over the next three months, supporting arterial healing. The elastomeric coating prevents cracking, flaking, or peeling during expansion, maintaining consistent drug delivery.

The stent’s low crossing profile and smooth coating technology allow easy passage through calcified or tortuous vessels. Bench tests confirmed superior push-force efficiency compared with leading competitors (Ultimaster, Orsiro, Xience Sierra, Xience Xpedition, Resolute Onyx, Synergy). Clinical studies, including COMPARE 60/80 HBR and the Cruz HBR Registry, further validate its safety and efficacy, even in high bleeding-risk patients.
